RISE Flag registration is now OPEN for the 2026 Spring flag football season. Each registered player receives a NEW BALANCE game jersey and short with their registration fee.
Each player will have an opportunity to purchase a RISE Flag mouthguard and/or RISE Flag gameday wear through registration.

REGISTRATION FEE:
RISE Flag registration fee does not include platform and credit card processing fees which will be applied at checkout. A $20 RISE processing fee and transaction fee (covering transaction processing cost) will be added to your total:
REGISTRATION: $170 - Resident
REGISTRATION: $214 - Non-Resident
Registration closes February 5, don't delay, secure your spot!
For athletes who register after the regular registration end date, families should expect that uniforms may arrive for Week 2 or Week 3. Also, additional RISE player apparel and/or RISE mouthguard purchased through the registration process, those items will be delivered to your address.

The SOUTHLAKE RISE Flag Football season runs from March through May with games taking place at:

SEASON SCHEDULE
Game days and times may be subject to change due to Inclement weather or other reason(s).
Games are played Fridays
Regular Season:
March: 3/13/27 (No games March 20th for Spring Break)
April: 2/10/17/24 (Thursday, April 2nd will be a full gameday, no games April 3rd)
May: 1
Playoffs:
May: 8
Inclement Weather Makeup Days - Thursdays and/or Saturdays throughout the season, dependent on staff and official availability.
*Given the volatility weather can present, the league reserves the right to schedule makeup games on any weeknight or weekend, if the initially posted dates are exhausted or also impacted*
*All efforts will be made to adequately update coaches and participants of any cancellations and makeup expectations in a timely manner. Generally, in best-case scenarios, makeup gamedays lag the missed gameday by one week. Makeup gamedays are official gamedays and cannot be easily rescheduled again, the expectation is to play or anticipate a forfeit.*
LEAGUE FORMAT
RISE Flag Football is based on the child’s grade level for the current school year.
• 1st - 2nd Grade Division (Kindergarten will play in this division)
• 3rd - 4th Grade Division
• 5th - 6th Grade Division
• 7th – 8th Grade Division
DIVISIONS DEFAULT TO "COMBINED" AND ALL PLAYERS/TEAMS REGISTERING SHOULD BE PREPARED TO PLAY AGAINST ANY OTHER TEAM. "COMPETITIVE" DIVISIONS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE IF ENOUGH TEAMS SELF-DESIGNATE AS SUCH. ONLY COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR RISE NATIONALS, MEANING IF NOT ENOUGH TEAMS SELECT COMP, AN INVITE WILL NOT BE GRANTED FOR WINNING THE DIVISION.
GOOD TEAMS EXIST IN RECREATIONAL DIVISIONS REGARDLESS OF THE PRESENCE OF A COMPETITIVE DIVISION.
• Eight game season plus playoffs for qualifying teams.
• 6v6 format on 25 x 50 yd field
• 8-10 player rosters so everyone plays every game (12 maximum)
• Voluntary practice will be conducted on gameday - perfect for multi-sport athletes
• No tryouts or drafts - rosters are formed by friend or coach requests; single players placed on teams with similar schools or neighborhoods
• All coaches are volunteer parents

ALL COACHES, OR THOSE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING AS ONE, NEED TO CONTACT THE LEAGUE COMMISSIONER JONATHAN WEEKS (JWEEKS@CITYOFSOUTHLAKE.COM) TO COMPLETE THE CITY BACKGROUND CHECK.
REFUND POLICY
All refund requests must be submitted to the League Commissioner in writing and refunds will be based on the below:
• Customers shall submit a refund or transfer request at least seven (7) days prior to the program start date. The City shall not issue a refund after this date.
• A twenty five dollar ($25) administrative fee shall apply per registration item refunded if a uniform order has been placed prior to the refund request.
